What does the CoinW referral code give you?

The code gives you two things, and they are different in kind. One is a fee rebate: CoinW returns part of the trading fees you pay. The other is a welcome bonus, which is always “up to” an amount and always tied to conditions.

The cap and the period matter as much as the share. A rebate that stops after a set time, or after a set amount, changes what you actually save. Both are listed above exactly as Getref has checked them; where a cell says “to be confirmed”, read the current terms on the CoinW exchange page or on coinw.com before you rely on it.

Getref may earn a commission from CoinW when you open an account through its partner link. This does not change your terms: the rebate and bonus are the same as the exchange lists them.

If you want the basics first, see what a fee rebate is.

What the rebate means in fees

The headline fee is not what you pay once the rebate applies. The effective fee is the fee after the rebate. Here is an illustration at the rates shown today:

A rebate lowers your costs. It does not make trading profitable. Use the calculator with your own volume:

How do you enter the CoinW referral code at sign-up?

The code is entered while you register. The CoinW Help Center describes where invitation codes come from and how they are shared. Screens change, so treat the steps below as the general path.

  1. Open the sign-up page through Getref's partner link, or go to coinw.com and start registration yourself.
  2. Choose email or phone registration and fill in the form.
  3. Find the field for an invitation or referral code. Check whether it is already filled in by the link.
  4. If it is empty, type the code exactly as shown in the offer above.
  5. Finish registration and set up two-factor authentication (2FA).
  6. Save a screenshot of the sign-up screen, and note your UID from the account page.

The invite code and the referral link are closely related. A link usually carries the code, so you rarely need to type it. Still, check the field before you submit.

If you also want Getref Rewards points, the tasks page explains what to do. Getref asks only for your UID. Getref cannot see your account or your trades, and points are Getref's own reward, never money.

Can you add a CoinW referral code after sign-up?

We could not confirm this on an official CoinW page. Some third-party sites report that a referral code cannot be added after registration, but that is a report, not a published rule.

Treat it as the safe assumption: enter the code at sign-up. If you already have an account and forgot the code, ask CoinW support whether it can be linked, and keep their answer in writing. Do not pay anyone who offers to “attach” a code for you.

There is also a related question about code recovery: how long after sign-up anything can be changed. The value for that is to be confirmed, and it reads as unconfirmed until CoinW publishes it.

Why do other sites list different CoinW codes and rebates?

Because there is no single public number that applies to everyone. Several things can differ.

  • Different partners, different terms. Each partner or affiliate can hold its own agreement with the exchange.
  • Inviter side versus new-user side. CoinW's help pages talk about invitation codes from the inviter's point of view. That is not the same as the rebate a new user receives.
  • Old pages. Rebate shares, bonuses and fees change, and old posts are rarely updated.
  • Different products. Spot and futures fees differ, and some sites mix them into one figure.

Getref does not list other sites' codes and does not repeat their discount or bonus figures. The numbers on this page come from checked fields, each with a “verified” date and a source. How Getref checks them is described separately.

How do you check that the rebate actually arrives?

The exchange calculates and pays the rebate. Getref does not see it and does not pay it, so the check happens in your CoinW account.

  1. Make a small spot trade after registration.
  2. Open your order and trade history and note the fee charged.
  3. Look in the fee or rebate records in your account for a matching return. The menu names change, so use the account's help search if you cannot find them.
  4. Compare the result with the example logic above: base fee, rebate share, effective fee.
  5. If nothing shows up, contact CoinW support with your UID, the registration date and your screenshot from sign-up.

An account opened through Getref's link is visible to Getref only as “an account was opened”, with the UID you submit. Getref cannot see your trades, so it cannot tell you whether a particular payment was correct.

Futures fees are not confirmed yet. The futures maker fee is to be confirmed and the futures taker fee is to be confirmed. Whether the rebate applies to futures too is also something to read in the current terms on coinw.com before you trade them.

Who should look at another exchange?

The CoinW offer is built around spot fees and a sign-up bonus. It may not fit everyone.

  • If you trade derivatives mostly, the futures fees here are still unconfirmed, so compare before you commit.
  • If you need a long, certain rebate period, the period above is unconfirmed. Another exchange with a verified period may be easier to plan around.
  • If country availability is unclear for you, check the official list on coinw.com. Getref does not guess it.
  • If you want a large, established order book, compare directly against bigger platforms.

Frequently asked questions

Is the CoinW invite code the same as a referral link?

They are closely related. The invite code is the short code entered at sign-up, and a referral link is a sign-up link that carries that code. Using the link usually fills the field for you, but check it before you submit.

Does the CoinW sign-up bonus come with conditions?

Yes. A bonus is always “up to” an amount and depends on conditions such as deposits, trading volume or deadlines. Getref has not confirmed the exact conditions, so read them on coinw.com before you register.

Is a CoinW fee rebate the same as cashback?

No. A fee rebate returns a share of the trading fees you pay, and CoinW calculates and pays it. Cashback is a different term, so check which one an offer means.

Do I need KYC to use the CoinW referral code?

Getref has not confirmed whether the code itself requires identity verification. Bonus payouts and withdrawals may have their own verification rules, so check the official terms on coinw.com.

Does the rebate apply to futures trading too?

Not confirmed. The futures fees and any futures rebate terms are still to be confirmed on Getref, so check the current terms on coinw.com before trading derivatives, which carry high risk.
